Dr. Aminat Olabisi Adelekan was born to the family of Alhaji and Alhaja G.O Bello, Aiyepe-Ijebu. She holds a B.Sc. Hons. Food Science and Technology in 1992 from University of Agriculture, Abeokuta and M.Sc. Food Science and Technology in 1999 from the same University. She carried out her Ph.D. laboratory work in the Biological Sciences Department of Florida Atlantic University, Davie campus, Florida, U.S.A. The Ph.D. research work was on Microbial Diversity studies on African locust beans (Iru and Dawadawa) using 16S rRNA gene Analysis, she successful defended her Ph.D. in Food Microbiology/Biotechnology, the first in the Department of Food Science and Technology of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. She is one of the pioneer staff of Bells University of Technology, and rose from Assistant Lecturer in 2005 to Senior Lecturer.  Dr. Aminat Olabisi Adelekan is the first FEMALE pioneer staff in the Department of Food Science and Technology, College of Food Sciences and Bells University of Technology, to bag a Doctorate degree. She teaches many courses in the area of Food Sciences, Biotechnology and Nutrition.She was the pioneer Female Hall warden and the coordinator, Nutrition and Dietetics programme and also members of various University committees.

Dr. Aminat Olabisi Adelekan is a registered member of Nigerian Institute of Food Science and

Technology (NIFST), Society for Applied Microbiology (SFAM) and American Society of Microbiology (ASM). She has many scientific publications in the area of Food Science and Technology and she is happily married with children to Prof. Delana Ajao Adelekan.

Alhaji Salau, Muyideen Wola a Retired Permanent Secretary from the Ogun State Civil Service was born in Ijaye Kurunmi, Abeokuta in 1952.

He had his Elementary education at Ansa-ud-Deen Primary School, Isolo Mushin and finished his Secondary education at the prestigious Eko Boys High School, Mushin where he had his West Africa School  Certificate in 1970. Alhaji Salau bagged his first degree in Political Science from the University of Ibadan in 1974. He also has a Masters Degree in Public Administration (MPA) in 2001 from the University of Ado-Ekiti.

During his over 32 years in the Ogun State Civil Service, he held several sensitive positions. It is of note that he spent 22 years of his career in the Governor’s Office as an Administrator at different levels. He served at the Executive Secretary, Osun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board between 1996 and 1999. He retired from the service as a Permanent Secretary in 2011. While in the service Alhaji Salau attended several Seminars and Workshops.

He was the first Vice-Chairman Ogun State Football Association. He is an active member of many Clubs, amongst which are Abeokuta Club, Abeokuta Social Elites, Kurunmi Club, Cyclic Club and Abeokuta Sports Club.

Alhaji Salau is the chairman, Working Governing Council of the Islamic Mission for Africa (IMA).

He is currently the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer EM-ESS GLOBAL CONCEPT LIMITED.

Alhaji Salau is happily married to Alhaja Ganiat Olateju Salau. They are blessed with loving and wonderful children.

Born over forty year ago, Alhaji Abdur Rahman Olayemi Maku had his primary and secondary school education at Ibadan between 1980 and 1992. He was offered admission to study mass Communication at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta in 1996 and graduated in 2001 with a Higher National Diploma. Between 2002 and 2003, he participated in the mandatory National Youth Service Corps Scheme in Edo State. The quest for further education took Abdur Rahman to Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye in 2006 for a degree programme in Mass Communication, which he successfully completed in 2010 with A Second Class (Honors) Upper Division. He is currently undertaking a Master of Arts programme in Communication and Language Arts at the prestigious University of Ibadan.

Maku’s work experience has spanned eleven years since he joined the service of Abeokuta Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture as an Assistant Secretary in August, 2004. Few months into his employment, he rose to the position of Acting Executive Secretary and he was later confirmed as the Executive Secretary of the Chamber in April 2005, the position he holds till date.

On the professional front, Abdur Rahman Maku is an Associate Registered Practitioner of Advertising under the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) and an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR). At different times, he has served meritoriously as the Assistant Secretary, Secretary and Ex-Officio member of NIPR Ogun State Chapter.

As a staunch Muslim, Alhaji Maku has served in different capacities within the Islamic circle. He was the Amir/President of the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta  Branch; he has also served as the General Secretary of MSSN, Ogun State Area Unit. He was a former Public Relations Officer of Da’wah Front of Nigeria, National Headquarters. He is a member of the Board of Governors of Mueenat International Academy, Abeokuta.

Alhaji Abdur Rahman Maku is happily married with children and he enjoys reading and intellectual discussion.
